Yosemite Wedding Venue – Yosemite West
If you’re looking for a Yosemite Wedding Venue, let me tell you about Yosemite West! Yosemite West is a neighborhood INSIDE the Park full of beautiful cabins. You can rent them on their official website or through Airbnb.
Although this wasn’t Desiree & Fabian’s original plan, I would say it was the perfect Plan B! These two were ready to get married up at Glacier Point, but the weather forecast had different plans. The snow came earlier than we thought and closed the road for the season.
But since they had a Yosemite West Cabin rented out, they decided to make the most out of it! The ceremony was on the Cabin’s deck and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was so chill and relaxed, and their families were so happy!
Advantages of Having your Wedding at Yosemite West
- Comfort: if you love the outdoors, but you’re not so sure about having your family outside for the length of the ceremony and family photos, Yosemite West might be the perfect Yosemite Wedding Venue for you!
- Convenience: not having to drive anywhere after your wedding day is pretty convenient, wouldn’t you agree? And I bet your guests would too! The combination in between lodging and a perfect ceremony spot is what makes Yosemite West such a great place to get married in the Park!
- Location: Yosemite West Cabins are INSIDE the Park. It doesn’t get much better than that, does it? After their ceremony and family photos, we took a short 15-minute drive to Tunnel View and started their portrait session at the Park! And even if you’re not planning on getting married there, it’s the perfect place to get ready before your elopement, for example!

Being able to take them around Yosemite Valley right after their ceremony was so much fun! And the best part was – they got to have dinner and eat cake with their families at the Cabin!
