We met Claire & Eric back in 2020. They had just gotten engaged and were looking for engagement photographers in Yosemite. She stumbled on us on Instagram and we instantly hit it off! We spent all day with them, from sunrise to sunset, leaving feeling like we had been friends for ages. So, a year later, when they asked us if we would shoot their San Francisco Intimate Wedding we immediately said yes!
Claire & Eric decided to invite just immediate family and their closest friends. Their ceremony at the Grand Island Mansion couldn’t have been more perfect, followed by a lunch reception. The whole day felt super relaxed and just intimate. You could tell everyone present meant so much to them!
After toasts, some games, and dancing, they said bye to their guests, and the four of us went off on a mission – to catch the sunset in San Francisco!
When we were planning this day, I asked them if there was any place in the city that was special to them. They told me that it would be awesome to end their wedding day the same way they started their story : watching the sunset at Crissy Fields.
As we walked around SF, so many people congratulated them! And one person in particular told us about the “supermoon”. Admitely, none of us gave the man too much attention and just went on with the shoot. Well, next thing we know, there’s this GIANT moon rising above San Francisco’s skyline! Needless to say, we rushed over and got some of the most epic pictures from this day.
