We love taking road trips to Big Sur. The weather is always so perfect and there are so many things to do, and even better, for free! Walking along the beach, hiking, or really just driving around, there is no shortage of things to do. We were so excited about this Big Sur engagement session with Elizabeth and Steve! Even though it was the middle of February, the weather was pretty perfect, gotta love the California “winter”.

Now let’s talk about energy. The energy you bring out to your photo session will reflect on your pictures, and these two brought good vibes only to their Engagement Session! We had two locations planned, Carmel Beach and a little hike on the Big Sur drive that we had been wanting to explore for a while, both dog-friendly places since they brought their dog Cooper (a majestic looking golden retriever that you will wish you met).

We enjoyed the beautiful 70 degrees weather, walked around the beach, went for a little hike, and just had a great time! You really can’t go wrong when you put together awesome people, a golden retriever, and beautiful California Coast views. It was the perfect combination for their Big Sur engagement photos and an awesome afternoon!
