The Pines has a proud tradition of helping people get away. Situated just 17 miles away from the Southern Gate of Yosemite, this resort has been offering experiences for over 100 years. As you might have guessed, this spot has gone through quite a few changes since its 1901 opening, but it remains committed to unforgettable adventures in Yosemite’s backyard.

Details of the Grounds

With The Pines Resort, you will want to turn your wedding day into an entire week! They offer cozy accommodations where you can stay alongside your wedding party. Not only will this give you the chance to have countless Bass Lake experiences, but it will also give you the perfect spot to get ready ahead of your ceremony!

The resort offers ceremony sites where you can host up to 300 guests for your day. The Gazebo Lawn is always a favorite. As you exchange your vows, you are going to have the serene lake and towering mountains as your backdrop. This area is perfectly flat and open to ensure every guest will be able to witness this moment. While you might get boats sailing in the background, the venue does a good job of keeping this area private from any potential crashers.

Once your wedding is over, your guests can head back up to the resort, where they can enjoy cocktails while taking in the views. From there, you will have two options for your reception. If you would prefer something outdoors, you will have the tented Lakefront Deck. Inside, you can use the Lakeview Room, where you can have climate control while still taking in the surrounding sights.

Photography Opportunities

The Pines Resort offers plenty of spots for your wedding portraits. Many of the chalets have their own private balcony where you can go to get individual portraits once you have finished getting ready.
